
The Texas Police Association presented a weeklong training, free of charge, to large class of local, area and an even a few out of State first responders at the SST Wille de Leon Civic Center this past week. The training centered on Support That Saves, Building and Sustaining Peer Support, Defense Tactics, and Leaderships Skills. Pictured are Emmanuel Zamora, Constable and SWTX Law Enforcement Academy Coordinator, Chad D. Stary, President and CEO of First State Bank of Uvalde, Erwin Ballarta, Executive Director of the Texas Police Association, Sonja Ruiz, SVP and Compliance Officer of First State Bank of Uvalde, Chance Neutze AVP/Director of Marketing/Culture/Brand First State Bank of Uvalde and Dwight Mathis, former DPS Regional Director and member of the Texas Police Association. Chad D. Stary presented checks from First State Bank of Uvalde and from he and his wife Kim to support the training classes.
