BENEFITS

The benefits of membership in Texas Police Association vary somewhat based on the level of membership in the Association. Please see below for details.

Active

Benefits include voting privileges, a subscription to the bimonthly issue of the Texas Police Journal, the biennial issue of the Peace Officer's Guide to Texas Law, and $4000 Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance. ($30.00 per year) Effective as of April 1, 2003.

Associate

Benefits include a subscription to the bimonthly issue of the Texas Police Journal and the publishing of the Associate Member's name and/or company name quarterly in the Journal. Voting privileges, AD&D Insurance, and the biennial issue of the Peace Officer's Guide to Texas Law are not included. ($50.00 annual tax-deductible donation).

Affiliate

Benefits include a subscription to the mbionthly issue of the Texas Police Journal. Voting privileges, AD&D Insurance, and the biennial issue of the Peace Officer's Guide to Texas Law are not included. ($30.00 per year) Effective as of April 1, 2003.

Agency Affiliate (no insurance)

Benefits for each officer include voting privileges, a subscription to the monthly issue of the Texas Police Journal, and the biennial issue of the Peace Officer's Guide to Texas Law. AD&D Insurance is NOT included. ($21.00 per year) NOTE: You must contact the TPA office to enroll as an Agency Affiliate Member.

Agency Affiliate (with insurance)

Benefits for each officer include voting privileges, a subscription to the bimonthly issue of the Texas Police Journal, and the biennial issue of the Peace Officer's Guide to Texas Law. AD&D Insurance IS included. ($25.00 per year) NOTE: You must contact the TPA office to enroll as an Agency Affiliate Member.

Student Affiliate

Benefits include a subscription to the bimonthly issue of the Texas Police Journal and the biennial issue of the Peace Officer's Guide to Texas Law. Voting privileges and AD&D Insurance are not included. ($30.00 per year) Effective as of April 1, 2003.

Sustaining

Benefits include a subscription to the bimonthly issue of the Texas Police Journal and the publishing of the Sustaining Member's name in the Journal. ($1500.00 annual tax deductible donation).
