Edged Weapon Defense (Also named Edged Weapons Dynamics & Defense)
Participants will understand the dynamics of an edged weapon attack and learn what strategies and methods are practical for them to survive such an attack through simple and effective application oriented training. Course material will include: threat assessment skills; recognizing pre-attack cues; understanding the dynamics of an edged weapon attack; principles, strategies and techniques for surviving an attack; the do's and don'ts of edged weapons; tactical movement and avoidance techniques; engagement stunning and disengagement drills; use of force and legal issues; control tactics; and deadly force options.
